Optional Tours - complementary

We are offering you a selection from one of the following tours on March 30

08:45 Pick Up from the Hotel lobby

Dead Sea and Masada

Estimated return: 19:00

Travel to the Dead Sea area, the lowest point on Earth. Drive along the coast of the Dead Sea to Masada, a symbol of Israel’s strength and determination. Ascend to the top of the mountain via cable car, tour the famous fortress ruins, visit the excavations of Herod's Palace, the Roman Bathhouse and enjoy views of the Dead Sea landscape. Arrive at a hotel in Ein Bokek for lunch and float in the Dead Sea.

Tour of Jerusalem – Holy Sites within the Old City

Estimated return: 19:00

Tour in the Old City

We shall start our tour at an observation point on Mt. Scopus overlooking the Judean desert. From there we'll descend along the Mt. of Olives to the Gethsemane Church. According to history, this is where Jesus spent his last night. We'll enter the Old City via the Zion Gate, walk over to the Jewish Quarter and visit the western wall.

Church of the Holy Sepulcher

Following the Davidson Center, we will make our way via the Byzantin e Cardo to the Church of the Holy Sepulcher. The site is highly thought of as where Jesus was crucified, and is said also to contain the place where Jesus was buried (the Sepulcher). The church has been a paramount – and for many Christians the most important – pilgrimage destination since at least the 4th century, as the purported site of the resurrection of Jesus
Towards the end of the tour we will walk along the way of the cross (via Dolorosa), and through the markets – where you'll have free time for shopping
